The following is an email sent to Mr Grant Swallows after our November trip to the Florida Panhandle. May you read it and be encouraged!
"My husband and I have a beach home near Port St. Joe, Florida. Your coach and players attended church at the Port St. Joe Church of Christ after working to help people who had damage from the hurricane. We were there that Sunday also. I just want to let you know how impressed everyone was with the coaches, parents and players. The young men were so well behaved and serious about what they were doing. Also, they had slept in the church building and it was left without a scrap of paper, cookie crumb, or any evidence they had been there. As a native of Jackson County, a graduate of Tennessee Tech, and the daughter of Charles Sadler who refereed many high school basketball games in Middle Tennessee, I could not have been prouder of this group of young men from Tennessee. By the way, are you related to Elmo Swallows? Again, you can be pleased to have the baseball team and coaches represent your school. I hope they win every game in 2019! Susie Sadler Grosvenor"
